Google Business Profile Optimization in Seattle

Watt Consulting sets up and manages Google Business Profiles for small businesses across Greater Seattle: King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. That covers categories, services, hours and service areas set deliberately, weekly posts and fresh photos, seeded Q&A, and every review answered in your voice. It's a $300 one-time setup, then $150 a month.
When someone searches for your kind of business near them, your Google Business Profile is usually the first thing they see: your hours, reviews, photos and location, above every website. If it's incomplete or stale, the search goes to a competitor.
What's included
- Profile claim and verification, or recovery of access if it's been lost
- Primary and secondary categories chosen deliberately, plus the attributes that apply to you
- A complete services or products list with written descriptions
- Hours, holiday hours, service area and business description
- Weekly Google Posts and fresh photos on a steady cadence
- Q&A seeded with the questions customers actually ask, and monitored for new ones
- Every review answered, good and bad, with you approving the replies
- Name, address and phone cleaned up across the major directories
- Tracking on your profile link, so profile visits show up properly in your analytics
What does it cost?
$300 one-time setup, which covers a full audit and rebuild of the profile in month one, then $150 a month. The profile stays in your name, and you keep ownership of it and everything on it.
How the first 30 days work
- Week 1: Access, audit and a policy check: address, name, categories and anything that risks a suspension.
- Week 2: The rebuild: categories, services, descriptions, hours, service area and photos.
- Weeks 3–4: Weekly posts begin, Q&A is seeded, review replies catch up, and directory listings get corrected.
- Day 30: First report: searches, views, calls, direction requests and website clicks.
What I won't promise
A spot in the local map pack. Google controls that ranking and weights the searcher's distance heavily, which no one can change. I also won't buy, incentivize or filter reviews. It breaks Google's rules and puts your profile at risk of suspension.
Who this is for
Any business that gets customers from "near me" searches: restaurants and cafés, contractors, auto shops, salons, clinics and retail. It also fits service-area businesses without a storefront, like plumbers, cleaners and landscapers covering Seattle, the Eastside, South King County, Tacoma and Pierce County, or Everett and Snohomish County, whose address stays hidden and whose service area is listed instead.
Frequently asked questions
Why was my Google Business Profile suspended?
Usually it's a policy issue: an address that doesn't match your registration, extra keywords in the business name, or a category that doesn't fit. I audit for these and handle reinstatement requests, though Google makes the final call.
Should I respond to negative reviews?
Yes, always, and briefly. A calm, specific reply is written for the next customer who reads it, not for the reviewer. You approve every reply before it posts.
Can you get me more Google reviews?
I set up a compliant way to ask, using a direct link, a QR code and the right timing, and coach your team on asking. I won't buy, incentivize or filter reviews.
What if I don't have a storefront?
You'd be set up as a service-area business: your address is hidden and the areas you serve are listed instead. That changes how you're verified and ranked, and I set the profile up accordingly.
