Social Media Management for Seattle Small Businesses
Watt Consulting manages Instagram and Facebook for small and local businesses across Greater Seattle, in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties: 2 posts a week plus stories, a content calendar you approve before anything goes out, same-business-day replies to comments and DMs, and a plain-English report every month. It costs $300 a month.
Most owners I talk to don't have a posting problem. They have a plan problem. Posts go up when there's a spare ten minutes and stop when the week gets busy, and the gaps are what customers notice. This service replaces the gaps with a calendar.

What's included
- 2 posts a week across Instagram and Facebook, plus stories
- A monthly content calendar, sent for your approval before the month starts
- Captions, hashtags and simple graphics, written in your voice
- Scheduling and publishing on the agreed cadence
- Comments and DMs answered the same business day, with anything that looks like a lead or a complaint flagged to you
- Profile cleanup: bio, links, hours and cover images
- A monthly report covering what worked and what changes next month
What's not included
- Original photo and video shoots. This plan uses photos and video you provide. Pair it with Content Creation for original assets.
- Paid advertising (see Paid Ads)
- Extra platforms such as TikTok or LinkedIn, which are quoted separately if you want them
What does it cost?
$300 a month. Social Media Management and Content Creation together are $500 a month instead of $600, with one team shooting the content and running the accounts. Monthly services are invoiced in advance. You own every account, login, photo and file, during the engagement and after it.
How the first 30 days work
- Kickoff (60 min): Your goals, customers, offers, voice, and a list of things we should never say.
- Days 1–5: Account audit and access setup. Profiles get cleaned up on both platforms.
- Days 6–10: Your first month's calendar is drafted: posts, captions and visuals.
- Days 11–13: You review it, we make one round of changes, and you approve.
- Day 14: Publishing starts.
- Day 30: Your first report, along with next month's calendar.
What I won't promise
Viral posts, a follower count, or a number of leads. The platforms' algorithms decide who sees what, and anyone who guarantees otherwise is guessing. What I will commit to is a consistent, on-brand presence and an honest monthly read on what's working.
Who this is for
This plan fits owner-run businesses that know they should be posting and never have the time: restaurants and cafés, salons, contractors, retail shops, fitness studios and professional practices. I work with businesses across Seattle, from Ballard and Fremont to Capitol Hill, SODO and West Seattle, and around the region: Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Renton and Kent in King County, Tacoma, Puyallup and Gig Harbor in Pierce County, and Everett, Lynnwood and Edmonds in Snohomish County.
Frequently asked questions
How much does social media management cost in Seattle?
Published Seattle rates for small-business social media management ran from about $500 to $5,000 a month in August 2026, depending on platforms, volume and whether content is produced. Watt Consulting's plan is $300 a month for Instagram and Facebook, or $500 a month with original content creation included.
Do I have to provide the photos?
On the $300 plan, yes: it runs on photos and video you supply, plus simple graphics. If you don't have a steady supply, the $500 bundle adds on-site shoots so the feed doesn't depend on your phone.
Can you add TikTok or LinkedIn?
Yes. Adding a platform is quoted in writing before anything changes, and I'll tell you honestly whether your content can support another channel.
Who owns the accounts and the content?
You do. The accounts stay in your name, and you keep every caption, graphic and edited photo, during the engagement and after it ends.
